Mackinac City

The week after I went up north, I went up again with a fellow blogger. We left Ypsilanti about 8:30 Saturday evening and spent the night in Gaylord. We were up early the next morning and drove to Mackinaw City for breakfast and pictures.

The bridge framed by a couple of trees.

The Mackinac City Lighthouse tower in the morning sun.

I like the way this picture turned out with the path leading to the bridge.

The lighthouse and grounds.

Some seagulls along the shore. They didn't seem to mind the cold water.

From near the base of the bridge.

An unusual shot of the bridge.

The lighthouse stands guard over the bridge and the Straits.

The lighthouse in the early morning light as geese fly cover.
